Today was a great day as we kicked off our homeless outreach this season when we joined Great Lakes Church on their outreach trip. Thanks so much to them for letting us be a part of it each year!

Thanks to many generous donors and donations, we were able to share a number of heavy duty military sleeping bags, coats, mats, tents, hats, gloves, socks and hand warmers to those in need including Matt, Leslie, Richard, Deb and more.

Today’s journey took us through multiple stops, including a bridge where some sleep under; two libraries, where many go during the day to stay warm; and a wooded tent city, where food in bags was hung from trees for later pickup by those living outdoors nearby.
