A veteran, Johnny (and his wife Lori) reached out to us in need of some hats, gloves, and socks. Since they were in our area, we took a trip to Walmart today to pick up those items, before the extreme cold weather hits next week. We also had some hand warmers we dug up to share as well.

Johnny & Lori (and their small dog Coco) are staying in a local motel, trying to get their housing situation figured out next week. Johnny has Social Security and his VA benefits, but has been trying to find housing since the landlord he was renting from refused to fix the broken apartment heater since December. Johnny has our contact info if things change, or he finds himself in need of any other warming items.
