Tonight we met Jordan. Jordan ran into a homeless man today that he had met before in his town, who had gone through a divorce, dealt with some substance abuse issues, and was staying outdoors with little to no cover or warming items. He was worried for the homeless man’s safety in tonight’s cold temperatures, so he took it upon himself to do what he could.

He contacted us. We were fortunate to have a popup tent, winter sleeping bag, and some handwarmers on hand. He made the trip to meet up at our location and we shared the warming items with him, where he then headed out to meet up with the homeless gentleman to give him the supplies.

Jordan’s selfless act to take a few hours out of his day to stop and look out for another, really made an impression on us. How thankful to find generous and kind souls like that today.
