Tonight we met Ally & Charles. They are an engaged couple that came up from the Florida area recently. Charles mentioned they were in need of some camping supplies, as they only had enough funds to stay in a local motel for a few days, so tonight we provided them with a tent, a two-person sleeping bag, and a two-person self-inflating sleeping pad.

Today was actually a good day for them both as they noted. In addition to us enjoying meeting them and sharing donations, they both landed a job at a local restaurant today. Now they are on their way to the path of saving up for (hopefully) affordable housing in their future. We wish them both the best of luck, and have asked them to keep our contact info should they find themselves in need someday again in the future.
