Today we were reminded of an old quote … “I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet.”

During outreach this morning we met and handed out warming donations to 10 homeless individuals living outdoors in rough conditions: 8 living under bridges and 2 sleeping on heating grates.

Because of YOUR SUPPORT, we were able to share with the Care Alliance outreach team and these individuals:

120 pairs of hand warmers
44 pairs of military wool socks
9 Heavy-duty military winter sleeping bags
9 Men’s winter coats
5 Pairs of Military Winter Parka Coat / Pants combos
4 Pop-up tents
