This morning we went on homeless outreach with our awesome partners Jim (and Jack) at NEOCH in downtown Cleveland. The primary goal was to find individuals staying outside and to look at options to get them out of the upcoming storm's path if possible, either via a stay for a day or two at a shelter or hotel.

For those who were strong in their stance to continue to stay outdoors, we shared w/ them food, hot chocolate, and winter warming items.

On our journey today we met:
- Kathy, a lady living in the woods off I-90. We set her up a new pop-up tent to replace her old, ripped one
- 5 people sleeping on the sidewalk over a few heating grates. Food & warming items donated
- Jules, a gentleman who refused to take shelter indoors, so we provided him with a new sleeping bag and some hand warmers
- A friendly couple living in a tent on the street corner (also near a heating grate), who thankfully decided to take indoor shelter this weekend at a hotel
Thanks to you, our supporters, this was all possible. Your generosity this year was amazing, just amazing! The timing couldn't have been better, as the consistent theme this year seems to be the increasing need and care for those in the outdoor, homeless population.
