What a wonderful and amazing blessed day today! We received an email from Scott M., the Plant Manager at Flambeau – Sharon Center, who invited us for a personal tour of the plant and, thanks to Flambeau and the W.R. & Floy A. Sauey Family Foundation, also shared with us a donation of $4000 for the Winter Warmth Mission’s goal of helping the homeless!

Words could not express the gratitude we feel. The Foundation elects 2 local charities each year to help strengthen the communities in which the Nordic Group provides jobs. Donations like these will go towards helping to provide warming items for the homeless each winter. With these funds our goal is to purchase and distribute a number of cold weather sleeping bags, tents, boots, hand warmers, sleeping mats, etc. for the unsheltered homeless.
